The Legend of Zelda animated series is a 13-episode television series that aired as part of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show! from September 8, 1989 until December 1, 1989. The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! consisted of live-action segments starring Lou Albano as Mario and Danny Wells as Luigi intermixed with animated stories following the adventure of the Super Mario Bros.
