Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!!

Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!! is a boxing game developed by Nintendo Research & Development 3 (R&D3) division and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game is an adaption of the 1983 arcade game “Punch-Out!!” and it’s 1984 successor “Super Punch-Out!!”.

Rygar (NES)

Rygar is an action-adventure based video game developed and published by Tecmo for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game is an adaptation of the Rygar arcade game that was released by Tecmo a year earlier in 1986. While the original arcade version of the game was ported to many home computers and consoles, the Famicom / Nintendo Entertainment System version of the game was heavily altered resulting in a unique experience.

Nintendo R&D2

Nintendo Research & Development 2 commonly abbreviated as Nintendo R&D2 was a development group that was formed when Nintendo’s oldest video game development team Nintendo Research & Development split into several groups to expand their service offerings. This allowed each team to concentrate on creating and developing particular products and services.

Strider (NES)

Strider is a side scrolling action-adventure video game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System. While the development of the Nintendo Entertainment System version of Strider was being created in tandem with the arcade version both games were separate unique projects.

Adventure Island

Adventure Island is a side-scrolling platforming video game developed and published by Hudson Soft for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game is an adaptation of the arcade game Wonder Boy which was developed by Escape and published by Sega.

Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers 2

Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers 2 is a platform video game published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Released in December 1993 in Japan and January 1994 in North America as a direct sequel to Capcom’s 1990 Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers for the Nintendo Entertainment System, the game is much rarer due to it’s late release in the Nintendo Entertainment System lifecycle.

DuckTales 2

DuckTales 2 is a platform video game published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System and later ported to the Game Boy. Released in 1993 as a direct sequel to Capcom’s 1989 DuckTales for the Nintendo Entertainment System, the game is much rarer due to it’s late release in the Nintendo Entertainment System’s lifecycle.
