Mega Man 2

Mega Man 2 is an action platforming video game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Released first in Japan as Rockman 2 for the Famicom on December 24, 1988, the game is the second installment in the Mega Man series which was introduced the year prior in 1987.

Resident Evil 2

Resident Evil 2 is a survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom for the Sony PlayStation. Similar to the previous installment in the series, Resident Evil 2 is a 3D action-adventure game that utilizes three-dimensional polygon characters over two dimensional pre-rendered backgrounds. The gameplay is viewed through a variety of fixed camera angles in each room to provide a cinematic like experience.

Strider (NES)

Strider is a side scrolling action-adventure video game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System. While the development of the Nintendo Entertainment System version of Strider was being created in tandem with the arcade version both games were separate unique projects.

Strider

Strider is an arcade hack and slash platform video game developed and published by Capcom. The game debuted in arcades in 1989 and utilized the Capcom Play System (CPS) arcade system board that ran games from a removable daughterboard. The CPS system board allowed Capcom to develop many arcade games using the same core chipset and simply switch out smaller daughterboards that held the game data. Capcom released over 25 titles for the CPS between 1988 and 1995 with Strider being one of the first games to be created specifically for the CPS hardware.

Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers 2

Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers 2 is a platform video game published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Released in December 1993 in Japan and January 1994 in North America as a direct sequel to Capcom’s 1990 Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers for the Nintendo Entertainment System, the game is much rarer due to it’s late release in the Nintendo Entertainment System lifecycle.

Dino Crisis

Dino Crisis is a survival horror video game developed by Capcom Production Studio 4 and published by Capcom for the PlayStation. Created by the Resident Evil development team the game is the first installment in the Dino Crisis series.

DuckTales 2

DuckTales 2 is a platform video game published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System and later ported to the Game Boy. Released in 1993 as a direct sequel to Capcom’s 1989 DuckTales for the Nintendo Entertainment System, the game is much rarer due to it’s late release in the Nintendo Entertainment System’s lifecycle.

Released exclusively in Japan on December 15, 1989 the game is based on a horror film of the same name. Directed by Tokuro Fujiwara who toured the film’s set to gather inspiration for the game and to collaborate with the film’s director on the game’s adaptation of the film.

Bionic Commando is an action platforming video game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Originally released on July 20, 1988 as “Hitler’s Resurrection: Top Secret” in Japan for the Famicom the game was modified to remove Nazi references such as Swastikas when it was localized for North America.

Disney’s Aladdin is an action platform video game developed and published by Capcom for the Super Nintendo. Based on the 1992 animated movie of the same name the game is one of several games based on the film. Another game based on the movie was released earlier the same month for the Sega Genesis which was developed by Virgin Games and is a completely different game.
