Troy Baker is an American voice actor that works on everything from anime to video games. Baker began his voice acting career in Dallas doing local radio commercials. Recruited in 2004 by Christopher Sabat, a voice director at Funimation for the English adaptation of the anime Case Closed.

Working with Funimation, an American entertainment company that specializes in the dubbing and distribution of foreign content such as Japanese anime opened the door for Baker, leading to dubbing additional anime such as Bleach, Dragon Ball Z, Fullmetal Alchemist and Naruto.

His career in the video game industry began with the North American localization of the PlayStation 2 game “Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken angel” and “BloodRayne 2”. Baker’s most notable roles came in 2013 when he voiced Booker Dewitt in “BioShock Infinite” and Joel in “The Last of Us”.

He is best known for his performances as the character Joel in The Last of Us, the Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins, Higgs in Death Stranding, and Sam Drake in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Baker also host a weekly YouTube series called “Retro Replay’ with follow voice actor Nolan North.
