Nolan North is an American voice actor that has worked on everything from anime to video games. North began in the entertainment industry in 1997 when he was casted as Dr. Chris Ramsey in the General Hospital spin-off series Port Charles. North starred in the soap opera series from 1997 until 2002, appearing in 734 episodes.

While primarily working as an actor on Port Charles, North worked on a few video games as a voice actor, with is first role as “Hinkley” in Activision’s “Interstate ‘82” for the PC. He did not begin to focus on voice acting until the cancellation of Port Charles in 2003.

Starting in 2003 he began to be featured in many video games with his roles varying from additional voices to Narrator to featured performances. North’s more notable roles began in 2007 when he voiced Desmond Miles in Assassin’s Creed and voiced as well as handled motion capture for the character Nathan Drake in Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.

Working with Ubisoft and Naughty Dog as main characters in their hit franchises lead to many new opportunities, resulting in such notable roles as the Prince in “Prince of Persia”, Vossler in “Final Fantasy XII, Doctor Edware Richtofen in the “Call of Duty” series, Penguin in the “Batman: Arkham” series and Deadpool in various Marvel Comics based video games.

He remains best known for his performances as the character Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series and as Desmond Miles in the Assassin’s Creed series. On top of his involvement in voice acting he also host a weekly YouTube series called “Retro Replay’ with follow voice actor Troy Baker.
